So HaShem gave unto Israel all the land which He swore to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

And the Lord gave them rest round about, as he swore to their fathers: not one of all their enemies maintained his ground against them; the Lord delivered all their enemies into their hands.

There failed not one of the good things which the Lord spoke to the children of Israel; all came to pass.

Masoretischer Text — Codex Leningradensis (Westminster-Ausgabe)

Jahrhundert n.

JPS 1917 — The Holy Scriptures according to the Masoretic Text

Ben Sira (Jesus Sirach)
